LHCC Teen Ministry

Living Hope Christian Church has a dynamic Teen Ministry, serving middle and high school students with a wide range of fellowship, evangelistic, and discipleship activities designed to challenge 21st century teens to examine themselves and their faith in Jesus Christ, and for those who have believed in Him, to live out their faith as disciples — to follow Him.

Are we being salt and light in the world, or are we chasing people away from Jesus by our hypocrisy? Are we leading lives that reflect the power of the Holy Spirit to transform us, or leading people to believe Jesus Christ was a mere man with no power to change lives here and eternally? Why do we claim that there is only one way to be reconciled once and for all to God, and that’s through faith in Jesus? Why do we firmly believe that a collection of 66 books written over thousands of years, and completed over 2000 years ago, has any relevance in 2013? What’s the big deal about being a Christian, when there are really nice and moral people of other faiths? Why are there so many who call themselves “Christians” but don’t live lives that reflect Jesus Christ? What IS a Christian, anyway?

If you’re between the ages of 12 and 18, join us at Living Hope Christian Church every Wednesday afternoon and evening for fun and challenging discussions about what it means to be a follower of Christ in a culture that sees Christianity as just one more “religious choice,” or worse, as a religion of hatred, narrow-mindedness, and intolerance. We’ll talk about the answers to these questions and much more!
