		<description>Hi, Heidi!

It&#039;s best to break the fast with foods that are very easily digestible, and a light meal. You might break the fast by taking communion together with loaves of fresh Italian bread and grape juice, and then dining on chicken noodle soup. If someone is willing to make homemade soup for your teens and bring it in at the end, that&#039;d be wonderful! Or you could have a nice big crockpot or two going during the 30 hours, so the soup is ready when you&#039;re done.

At one of the churches we did the 30 Hour Famine at, a group of women from the church came in and cooked breakfast for us as a surprise -- scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, and fresh fruit. The teens were really touched, and it made a huge impact on them.

For this Famine, I had soup and bread ready, but my husband -- in a show of love -- brought in 48 tacos from Taco Bell. I&#039;d warned the teens that we needed to break the fast slowly, but when those tacos showed up, they devoured them, along with the bread and soup. A couple of teens got sick to their stomachs, but everyone else said they felt fine.

Love, in Christ,

		<description>Hi,
My church is doing the 30 hour famine. Do you have any suggestions on what the teens should eat after the fast. I know some foods are probably not good for them.
Please email me with any information you may have.
Thank you
