Construction of the New Building

Living Hope Christian Church construction

On Sunday, April 26, 2009 — after 10 years as a presence for the Lord in South County — Living Hope Christian Church enjoyed their first worship service in their very own building at 730 South County Trail in North Kingstown, Rhode Island! Living Hope’s members worked side by side on the new building for over a year, putting their hearts and hands together for God’s glory.

Our Grand Opening Worship Celebration was held on May 3rd, with a worship service, luncheon, and dedication service.

As we move forward as a church, we’ll still be working on projects in the new building. It’s a beautiful work in progress, and there’s still plenty to do. Working together on a project, especially one with so much meaning, is a great way to build relationships, deepen the bonds of friendship, and put your energies into something of lasting value — something that will mean a great deal to those who benefit from what you’ve been a part of. For us, that’s meant the excitement of being a part of building a new church to reach the community and minister to the needs of not only the family of Living Hope, but to those whose lives we touch outside our church family! The possibilities are endless for the ways God can use our hearts and hands when we have a building to call “home.”

We have a team of folks at 730 South County Trail nearly every Saturday, from 9 am – 4 pm. We’d love to see you there, doing whatever it is you’re able to do. There’s something for everyone to take part in — no construction experience is needed.

If you’re in the area, just stop in to say hello and encourage everyone — that’s always needed, too! Call ahead to 667-0775 to see who’s there if you’re in the area and want to stop in.
